3 for 1 challenges us with a 2 word sentiment this week! has a birthday challenge!!!! has a challenge of RED WHITE AND PINK

OK so I decided to combine the cards!!!! Yep..3 for 1 baby!!! I took colourcreates colour combination, and worked with that. I stamped my adorable lil girl and her bear…coloured her with copics R29,27,and 24 for her shirt..then Y19,17 and 15 for her hair. Mr Bear was coloured using stardust stickles hehehe for some bling factor. I used my tiny tags from Stampin Up for my sentiment “4 you” – 2 words completing the Audsentiment challenge, and finally it is a birthday card for my  niece so thats what kinda card it is 😉 I used a new background stamp that I had never inked  (will come back with what make, I cant find the packaging, but its one of those clings ones!), and inked it up with whisper white craft ink. I also used ribbon from my stash and some flowers! Enjoy

3 for 1 has a gorgeous sketch by
Kazan this week..and we were to make a unique edged card! has her weekly color chef
challenge, black, bright green and white … has a sewing challenge..whether
it be real or faux!

So I combined the 3 challenges to make my card! I started by cutting my
shape out with my cricut…I used Home Decor, the Marquis, on fit
to page, and then folded it in half to make a card! (in black cardstock!)
then I cut some bright green paper and edged it with my loopy
Martha stewart punch, added some green and black spotty ribbon, and
a bright green button. I stamped my sentiment KEEP YOUR SPARKLE in white.
Then I stamped my cute lil’ stamp, and set to work on colouring her
in greens! I added stickles to her wings, and around the edge of my
card, along with some white faux stitching!

Monday Monday has a gorgeous sketch by
Kazan this week..and lets be honest, its been forever since I have done
a challenge at 2S4Y! has her weekly color chef
challenge, black, bright green and white …hmm this one could
prove interesting! has a color challenge of
pink and brown!! < one of my fave combos!! 🙂 has a sewing challenge..whether
it be real or faux!

Ok since I have 2 sick kiddos and a sick momma, time will tell what
I can get done!

Hopefully some spectacular creations!

ColourQ had a great colour palette yesterday, and I used it to create the following page of my daughter and my dad. I worked hard on this layout, lots of elements went into making it what it is. I suppose I should tell you the colour combination first hey? It was pink passion, pretty in pink, basic grey, white and basic black!

Ok so here is what I did… I took a piece of basic grey paper, some pretty in pink, and some pink passion. I also found this cool patterned paper that had black and what looked to me like pretty in pink flourishes all over it! I layered the 2 pinks with the patterned paper on the grey. I then doodled some scallops along the side… I didn’t like that, but hey, it brought in the white. So I adhered my photo, a darling photo I might add 😉 and a bunch of the corner. Then I bling bling blinged it…adding bling flourishes, bling to my butterflies, etc etc. Then I made a small journal block, matted it in the pretty patterned paper, followed by some more bling! I stamped 2 butterflies, and coloured them with my copics. I then cut MOMENTS out of my Cricut Botanicals Lite cartridge, traced around the letters in black to make them pop a bit more. Then “To always cherish” was stamped with an Autumn Leaves stamp set! I added a little more hand doodling, and distressed the edges with versa magics white cloud ink! There ya have it! A gorgeous new layout of my daughter and dad!! 🙂 Enjoy!!!

C-Cubed 🙂

Happy 100 Color Throwdown! is celebrating their 100th colour challenge!! HAPPY 100! It worked out to be on my wedding anniversary, granted my hubs and I are only at 4 years, but I hope to make it to 100 with this man I love! The colours for the 100th throwdown were :  regal rose, real red, certainly celery and baja breeze! What a gorgeous combination!! I starte with some white cardstock, and made my 6×6 base (not sure why I love this size so much but I do 😉 ) then I adhered some wild asparagus patterned paper to the white card, I thought it was beautiful and had all the right colours! Then I added a strip of real red, with a strip of baja breeze that had been edged with ek success pinking hearts edge punch, and ONTOP of that I added some regal rose sheer ribbon! PHEW! Onto the next thing, my image.. I will have to google it to find out who made it, as it was no longer in original packaging, but they are soooo cute. I stamped them on prism paper, coloured them with copics that match the throwdowns colours. Then I added them to a piece of cardstock that had been edged in baja breeze, and a background created with a cute sweet pea stamp in certainly celery. I added some pearls, and some punched hearts from stampin ups 3 heart punch, that I coloured with the throwdowns colours! I LOVE this card!! I think its AWESOME! I hope you like it as much as I do!! Now to go leave comments on everyones blog for a chance to win some awesome prizes that they are giving away on the throwdown to celebrate 100!

Heres my card 🙂

3 for 1 this time! has a challenge to do either faux or real stitching on your card challenges us to use 4 stars on our creation! has a challenge to incorperate ORANGE and any type of bug into your card!

Ok so I combined these 3 challenges because, well it worked out that way! I started with a white card base, and set to work. I edged a piece of orange paper with Martha Stewarts Arch Lattice punch, adhered. Then I cut out the cute dragon fly from Paisley in lime green, and her wings in orange DCWV glitter paper. I then added some googly eyes and stickles to her, to give her some depth. I then cut 3 different sized stars from George and Basic shapes, and faux stitched around the edges of the stars. Then I stamped more stars in orange on top of my cut out stars, and the word ZAP which I feel is applicable to bugs of any kind lol!! I think its a very simple, yet very cute card…my son went buggy over it!! So there ya have it 3 for 1! YAY!
